The Apple Festival is Coming September 29th …..A new (or reborn) fundraising event is coming this September. The Apple Festival will be held on the Town Common on Saturday, September 29 between 11a-3p. This will be a fun family event with apple crisp, an apple bake table, music, storytelling, games, and more.
Maybe you’re thinking “Sounds like fun! How can I help?” Funny you should ask. Here are some ideas: Go to the church website (www.uubedford.org) for the link to the volunteer sign-up sheet.
· Visit www.AppleFestBedford.org and click on the link to “spread the word”
· Print flyers (available at AppleFestBedford.org) and post them on your favorite bulletin board.
· Check out (and share) the blog http://applefestival.blogspot.com/ to read fascinating facts about apples. (Did you know the real story about Johnny Appleseed?)
