Welcome to First Parish in Bedford’s
Religious Education Program!
This is a place for young people to explore and discover what is important in their lives and what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist. FPB is a place where our children’s various cultures, races, families, genders and sexual orientations are celebrated. Here our young people find a strong religious heritage from which to learn and grow, and from which to develop their own values for living. We encourage our young people to have questioning minds. Through a variety of experiences, they are encouraged to explore the spiritual world in which they live. We want to help our children open themselves to the gifts that life and people have to offer, with appreciation for their own gifts as well.
Please take time to read through this brochure to learn about the various programs we offer to support your child’s faith development and sense of community here with us at First Parish in Bedford. Members of the Religious Education Committee and I are committed to making sure that you and your family have a positive and enriching experience. I am happy to meet with you and your family to discuss our RE program and the ways it can help enhance your lives. Please feel free to contact me.
May you find many blessings in your day,
Lisa Rubin
