The programs we offer our high school youth focus on life skills, empowerment, social action, and building community.
For the 2025–2026 church year, we are offering the following programming for high school youth:
- The Coming of Age program for grades 9–10
- Senior Youth Group (SYG) for grades 9–12

Our Whole Lives (OWL): Grades 8–9
The Our Whole Lives (OWL) program for Grades 8–9 is a comprehensive, inclusive sexuality curriculum for — you guessed it! — our whole lives. The OWL curricula at every age offers fact-based support of values-based decision-making, self-confidence, and healthy relationships, and the curriculum for Grades 8–9 is the most comprehensive, exploring relationships, sexuality, health, safety, consent, and personal values. The OWL program requires registration.
OWL runs every other year and will next run during the 2026–2027 church year. Learn more here.
Coming of Age: Grades 9–10
Our Coming of Age program for Grades 9–10 supports youth in coming to a deeper understanding of Unitarian Universalism and their own identities and values. As they learn about UU history and beliefs and explore big questions — like “What happens after we die?” and “What is the purpose of life?” — they will build strong relationships. The finale of this program is a worship service planned and led by the youth and it is a highlight of the church year. The Coming of Age program requires registration.
Coming of Age meets 2 Sundays per month, 10:00-11:30am, during the 2025–2026 church year. The schedule is available here.
Senior Youth Group: Grades 9–12
Our Senior Youth Group (SYG) for Grades 9–12 focuses on building community, deepening connections, and participating in social action projects through organizations such as City Reach, Eastie Farm, and UU Youth Corps. Youth can expect snacks, games, friendship, conversation, silliness, and some seriously supportive advisors.
SYG meets weekly on Sundays, 11:30am–1:00pm, during the 2025–2026 church year. Learn more here.
