Our annual Mother’s Day weekend retreat at Ferry Beach is a beloved long-time tradition for parishioners of all ages. Whether it’s for both nights, one night, or just for the day on Saturday, come talk, laugh, and relax with friends old and new!

Pack your sunglasses, your sweatshirt, board games, instruments, and your community spirit!

What Happens at Ferry Beach?

Rain or shine, there’s plenty of ways to unplug from daily life and re-connect with your friends at Ferry Beach!

Whether you take a beach walk or join the polar plunge, there are so many ways folks enjoy the beach. You will find folks doing yoga, meditating, creating sand sculptures, and more. At night, there’s nothing quite like falling asleep to the sound of the waves.

Off the beach, there’s a lot of play happening — on the playground, the beach volleyball court, the tennis court, the board gaming room, the craft cabin, and sing-a-longs. And don’t forget the porches, the fireplace, and all the other places you can tuck away to read a good book or chat with friends new and old.

Meals from Saturday morning through Sunday morning are provided during Ferry Beach weekend. Activities and workshops are all led by your fellow parishioners.

Sample Schedule

Here is a sample schedule for a typical Ferry Beach weekend. Reading in rocking chairs on the porch, walks in the woods or on the beach, playing volleyball, time in the craft cabin, games and puzzles, relaxing by the fire, or naps in your room — or, for the young at heart, hanging out on the playground — are also always an option for spending your time.
