One Last Sermon
Rev. Bill Schulz
“You have made danger your vocation. There is nothing contemptible in that.”
– Friedrich Nietzsche
Rev. Bill Schulz was ordained and installed as minister of First Parish in Bedford on the evening of November 9, 1975, exactly 50 years ago this day. He went on to become President of the UUA (1985–1993); Executive Director of Amnesty International USA (1994–2006); and President of the UU Service Committee (2010–2016), during the latter of which he served as an Affiliate Community Minister at FPB and preached once a year. Bill returns this Sunday to reflect on whether he’s learned anything important over these last 50 years.
