Tea Parties and Mud Ball: Sunday Service
Rev. Jamie Hinson-Rieger
“As we enjoy these shady trees, our elders had from saplings grown, for those to come we sow our seeds that they may reap what we have sown.”
– Dean Groves
Why Is First Parish Important to Me?
“Being at First Parish is an exhale after holding your breath all week.”
UU Congregations are voluntary associations, volunteer led and (primarily) volunteer run. First Parish exists because of all the ways this community dreams it into being and then makes those dreams a reality. It is a labor of love, made possible by the generosity of everyone who contributes their time, energy, talent, and resources. And, in truth, there is a lot to do. As a newcomer, it can feel a little overwhelming, but for longtime members too. Are we doing too much? Are we doing too little? How do we find our own piece of the puzzle? What if we’re ready for a change?
Join us for a service that celebrates generosity and encourages us to also find the thing that enriches us the most. This Stewardship Sunday service is the kickoff to our pledge drives for the annual canvass and the capital campaign.
A recording of the service is available at the link below.
